PEARL-BORDERED FRITILLARY Boloria euphrosyne
This species is fairly numerous in the limestone woodlands around Morecambe Bay, and can usually be readily seen at Gaitbarrows in May in the woodland glades and rides. It does not occur anywhere else in Lancashire or Cheshire.
