 DINGY SKIPPER Erynnis tages

The main strongholds are the Morecambe Bay limestones in Lancashire (SJ47), and around Northwich in Cheshire (SJ67). In the1960sit was abundant at Delamere forest (SJ57). There appear to have been some losses in the south of Cheshire, but posibly also some gains; and more recently (2011) it has been discovered at previoulsy unknown sites around Disley and Poynton, on the Pennine foothills. It requires limestone with abundan tlow growth of Bird's-foot trefoil.
